Apollo to Host Root Cause Analysis Symposium

June 22, 2010: Root cause analysis users can help achieve business objectives and improve RCA programs by building knowledge and skills at the Apollo Root Cause Analysis Symposium, September 16-17, 2010 in Indianapolis.  Apollo RCA experts and practitioners from a wide range of industries and disciplines will present and share best practices.  A two-day Apollo RCA for Practitioners course will be held prior to the symposium, September 14-15.

Speakers from companies like Ameren Generation, Dow Chemical, GE Energy, Holcim US, and Siemens will demonstrate how RCA can make a short- and long-term impact on the bottom line.  Specifically, the program will help attendees:

The American Association of Safety Councils Endorses Apollo Root Cause Analysis Training

June 17, 2010: The American Association of Safety Councils (AASC) has endorsed four root cause analysis (RCA) training programs offered by Apollo Associated Services.  These programs utilize the structured Apollo RCA problem-solving methodology, which is widely used by corporations world-wide to eliminate and prevent problems that impact safety performance,  revenues and achievement of business goals.

These four, endorsed classes (covering RCA facilitation, leadership, participation and investigation) are already being offered by AASC members, including Evergreen Safety Council in Seattle, Washington; Great Lakes Safety Training Center in Midland, Michigan; Pacific Safety Council in San Diego; Safety Council of Louisiana Capital Area in Baton Rouge; and Suncoast Safety Council in Clearwater, Florida.  Read the full press release.

New RCA eLearning Released

April 20, 2009: Apollo released eRCA: Problem Analyst, an innovative new RCA eLearning course that teaches students how to effectively complete an RCA using the Apollo method.  Problem Analyst follows eRCA: Foundations of Problem Solving as the second module in Apollo's eRCA suite of online RCA courses.  Problem Analyst was built with RealityCharting 4.0 integrated to give the learner the most robust RCA eLearning tool possible.  Read the full press release.

RealityCharting Version 4.0 Released

April 14, 2009: Apollo has just released Version 4 of it's innovotive cause & effect charting software, RealityCharting.  Version 4 is packed with new features designed to help Apollo RCA users to better understand cause-and-effect relationships, develop effective solutions, and prevent problem recurrence through its mapping, wizard and reporting tools.  Responding directly to user feedback, the Apollo team significantly upgraded RealityCharting to be even more functional and user-friendly.  Read the full release.  Learn more about RealityCharting Version 4.

Apollo Expands Root Cause Analysis Capabilities and Offerings in 2008

January 14, 2009: Apollo responded to clients' needs by significantly expanding its capabilities and expertise, as well as service and product offerings in 2008.  Apollo added the Apollo RCA Turnkey service, which guides clients through the setup of their entire RCA program, ensuring their success and the meeting of goals.  Apollo will also soon release its second eLearning course "eRCA: Problem Analyst".  Analyst builds on its predecessor, eRCA: Foundations of Problem Solving to provide a well rounded RCA skill set.  Apollo will also release a new version of its powerful RCA charting software, RealityCharting.  Version 4.0 has been vastly improved over previous version, largely due to responding to client feedback.  Apollo also added power industry veteran John Stiller to its instructor/account manager lineup.  Read the full release.

Apollo Adds Power Industry Veteran

October 2008: Apollo recently hired power industry veteran John Stiller.  Formerly with Fortune 500 Ameren Corporation, Stiller brings 26 years of experience in the power generation industry to Apollo.  Stiller has vast experience with Apollo RCA and with implementing corrective actions.  Read more.
