History of Apollo

Apollo was founded in 1987 by Dean L. Gano after years of investigation experience in the nuclear industry.  The complexity of problems experienced in a nuclear facility along with the significant consequences for failure led Dean to seek out new ways of analyzing problems.  At the time, the few formal problem solving methodologies that existed were found to have serious flaws upon implementation.  Determined to succeed, and assisted by input from others with the same passion, Dean developed the foundations of the Apollo method.  Like all good ideas, word eventually got out, providing the impetus for forming Apollo.

Initial demand came from the petrochemical industry, but soon included aerospace, utilities, manufacturing, and others.   Today, Apollo is a global consulting firm delivering products and services in ten languages anywhere in the world.

The Apollo leadership team presently consists of Chris Eckert - President, and Brian Hughes - Vice President.
